Still Life Orange

Oil painting of an orange by Steve Driver

Still Life Orange

I recently finished this still life oil painting of an orange.

It’s touch dry but still needs a few more weeks to thoroughly dry out before it can receive its final varnish.

I wanted to get translucency of the light through the orange and love the way the the colour passes from yellow to orange then red.

It’s painted on a 16 x 12 inch canvas sheet and requires mounting and framing.
